We really adore stuffed toys. They are among our precious possessions in life. They continue to remind us of the moments they represent. They give us a flash back of our happy memories.

Just like your things you need to take care of it. Stuffable animals need to be cleaned once in a while. It needs to be cleaned to maintain its appearance. If you keep them maintained, they will last for many years. Here are some steps on how you could clean them properly.

If it is dirty, check if the toy has some care instructions from its manufacturer on the label. One needs to follow the instructions as they are the proper things you have to do. The care instruction differ depending upon the materials they are made of. Some have fur coat which is made using materials that are synthetic like a polyester. Some also have natural materials like a wool which covers its body.

Grab some baking soda. Sprinkle a small amount of it to your stuffed animals. This will be able to keep them fresh. Leave the baking soda on it for approximately fifteen minutes. After that time, brush the soda off. Do not exert so much force when you brush it because you may disfigure those animals.

Get your vacuum and then turn it on. Use the hose attached to the vacuum to gently vacuum the particles of dust and dirt off the animals. You should do that every week. See to it that there will not be some tiny things that will be sucked off the animal. Examples of these things are its loose eyes, ribbons and bows.

If you have seen soiled marks on that, you have to remove it. You can use a mild all purpose cleaner and your sponge for that. If they are heavily soiled, you can use a scrub to brush off all the dirt in the area. You could also use the rubbing alcohol if you needed to remove some spots and stains on them.

You last resort would be to wash those toys on a washing machine. Look at its label if they could be wet. There are instances where the animals get disfigured when they would get wet which is why you need to ensure that. If its really requires you that, you could placed them inside the pillow case one toy at a time. Use some safety pins to seal the pillow case. Wash that on delicate cycle mode. Then, add some fabric softener so you could make the coat fluffy.

Dry them using a hair dryer. It is best to use a hair dryer rather than your clothes dryer since your stuffed things are really sensitive. You should also be careful not to get them to be too close to the hair dryer. If you do not have a dryer, you can just let it dry on air. It will just take you several days to get them dried but that would be that best option if you do not want them to be damaged.

These stuffed things are also our valuable things. There are people who consider it as part of the family. Just like a family, one needs to keep taking care of them.
